Elephant Racing Swaybar Mount Reinforcement Panels will help prevent or repair the common problem of cracked swaybar mounts resulting from the application of overly stiff, binding, or incorrectly adjusted aftermarket swaybars.

Elephant Racing Swaybar Mount Reinforcement Panels are precision laser-cut from18 gauge steel. They distribute the swaybar loads into the bulkhead and double-layer sheet metal just beyond the original single-layer hole location.

You may also be interested in an upgrade to Elephant Racing’s QuickChange Blade Style Swaybar which mounts to the chassis using spherical bushings that articulate or “float” ensuring no binding. Spherical bushings allow mounts to automatically re-align themselves when the chassis is flexing under load. We believe this binding plays a significant role in the mount’s failure.

Installation requires welding.

Required for Adjustable sway bars when installed on cars not originally equipped with a through body sway bar. These plates fit to the back side of the wheel well and distribute the sway bar load to prevent tearing. Generally required for all 911/912/914/930 from ’74-’89.

Required when installing many thru-body type front sway bars onto cars originally equipped with an under-body type sway bar. U tabs are welded to stock control arms in place of the ‘loop’ style bushing holders used on cars originally equipped with under body type front sway bars.

Stock 911 rear swaybar mounts have a nasty habit of tearing away from the body. Stiff sway bars and aggressive driving only accelerate the inevitable mount failure.

Replace your mounts with these super strong aftermarket mounts and solve the problem for good. Requires grinding off the factory mounts and welding for installation.

The mounts have two sets of screw holes to fit both the 66mm bolt spacing as equipped on the 1978 to 1989 cars as well as the 56mm bolt spacing as equipped on the 1965 to 1977 cars.
