Our Eccentric Control Arm Monoball Cartridges replace inner rubber bushings with spherical bearings, providing low friction and precisely holding camber settings. The eccentric design allows increasing or decreasing camber, as needed.
Increasing Camber – Position the eccentric to maximize Lower Wishbone length, adding about .86 degree of negative camber on the 996/997 rear suspension, about .36 degree of negative camber on the Boxster rear suspension, and .39 degrees on the 996/997/Boxster front suspension. Cost effective for cars that just want extra camber. For even more camber and ease of adjustment, see our GT3 type fully adjustable control arms.
Decreasing Camber – Position the eccentric to minimize Lower Wishbone length. Perfect for lowered cars that have too much negative camber and want to get back to factory camber settings to minimize tire wear on the street. Makes rear camber about .86 degrees more positive & front camber about .39 degrees positive for 996/997 while Boxsters will get about .39 degrees positive front and .36 degrees positive rear.
Watch this Quick Overview
These monoball cartridges replace factory rear shock Lower mount bushings with hardened-steel spherical bearings. The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the shock. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the shock ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
High tolerance machined housing allow for simple press fit installation.
The kit includes 2 monoball bearings. 1 per side and inserts into the rear upright. Order one kit per car.
Weather Sealed
Monoball housing and spacers are hard anodized to protect from corrosion. Rubber seals keep the precision bearing from road contaminates for extended life of the product.
Monoball Cartridges replace factory rear track rod bushings with hardened-steel spherical bearings. Spherical bearings allow free motion on multiple axis and eliminate deflection associated with rubber, resulting in more precise holding of toe and camber.High tolerance machined housing allow for simple press fit installation. Correct spacers ensure proper fitment.Eccentric bearings are made from hardened steel, plated and weather-sealed to keep road contaminates out. These bearings are made to last.

This monoball cartridge kit replace the inner and outer track rod bushings. The inner Eccentric bearings provide increased range of toe adjustment. This is to compensate for increased camber or lowered car that cannot be brought into toe range. The outer concentric bearing replaces the rubber bushing and eliminates deflection due to rubber compression.

More Camber and Caster
Our offset front camber plates allow for additional camber and castor over the factory range of adjustment, similar to the GT3 geometry. These camber plates fit original factory type struts, including those equipped with PASM.
These plates use high strength hardened steel spherical bearings and are direct replacements for the factory plates which use compliant rubber bushings. The teflon lined spherical bearings used in our kit are entirely maintenance free and require no supplemental lubrication. These plates are sealed to prevent contamination from water or grime, thus extending bearing life. This makes the Elephant Racing camber plate kit perfect for regular street use, as well as extended abuse on the race track.
- The installation was easy and took only half an hour. The product definitively improves the handling experience, really enjoy it.Gavin F. – Offset Camber Plates
Higher Performance
Spherical bearings further improve performance. The spherical bearings pivot freely, but eliminate the deflection that is inherent with the factory rubber bushings. This is important for two reasons
– The factory rubber acts as a spring in series with the strut. This rubber spring-action is completely un-damped and reduces the struts ability to control the tire contact patch. The spherical bearing allows the strut damper to do its job and control the contact patch.
– The factory rubber deflects sideways under cornering loads, causing loss of camber just when you need it most. Our spherical bearings eliminate the deflection, maintaining stable and predictable camber.
